When you sign up for 1 VPS linux, usually it will not have the same login interface Windows VPS, to be able to log into the remote desktop you will have to manually install it GUI (Graphic User Interface - The user interface). Ask yourself the following instruction for Ubuntu 10.4 LTS VPS

It will ask you to login vps pass.pass this step both case sensitive cuoi.gom okay.
6.1 Setting Check that set well and make sure the VNC server is running
Run the command:
Type the command, check if there is text Xtightvnc: 1-desktop X-auth, then the right
7. Default VNC server is not using Gnome window manager, to get Gnome window manager do to change the default parameters as follows
Run the command:
Code:
sudo nano ~ / .vnc / xstartup
Put the cursor moves add a # in front of "x-window-manager" to "# x-window-manager"
(If you have it already, then burned the # sign)
Add the line: gnome-session & below the line x-window-manager #
After adjustment would like this:
Code:
x-terminal-emulator-geometry 80x24 +10 +10-ls-title "$ VNCDESKTOP Desktop" &
# X-window-manager &
gnome-session &
Then save it. Those who have the same bottom bracket as my console, press Ctrl + x, Y then enter to save and then Ctrl + x, N to exit.
And who does not find out the work as follows: When typing sudo nano ~ / .vnc / xstartup, it's akin to the current line edit such, it is to edit, it will appear as shown above, but do not have the part in bottom of the same figure.
Adjust the scroll button will then see the word INSERT, like editing on. Then press ESC, INSERT letters will not anymore. Then hit
